This week, Adrienne Maloof’s husband, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Paul Nassif, filed for legal separation from Maloof, 50. Nassif cited irreconcilable differences and that means Maloof could be a real ex-wife of Beverly Hills.
The couple has put their marriage on display on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Adrienne and Paul married in 2002 and have three children together, son Gavin, 9, and twins Christian and Colin, 6.
At this point it’s only a separation and it may not be the end for Adrienne and her husband. A couple days after Paul filed the separation, Adrienne made a public appearance and explained, “We’re at the point where it’s that bump in the road, but we’re trying to work things out,” she adds, “I always like to keep a positive attitude and hope that we can resolve our differences.”
Having three sons will help them try to keep it together, “It’s always about the children and what’s in their best intrests,” Maloof said, “I love my children. They come before anything I’ve ever done. They’re healthy, happy kids. I want to keep them that way.”
Good for her for putting up a fight to save her marriage. In Hollywood, there usually seems to be little effort in order to save a relationship, and in a way it’s a like a movie because it’s so unrealistic. At least Adrienne is being “real” (pun intended) about it because a marriage is work, and sometimes you do have to fight to keep it together and get over “that bump in the road.”
